Primary Responsibilities

We are seeking a creative developer who excels in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. The ideal candidate enjoys bringing web designs to life through creative thinking and an ability to make design decisions regarding mobile design and user interaction while coding. We are looking for a candidate who can develop a website from initial concept through launch and provide ongoing maintenance, can find creative solutions to problems, is always up for a challenge, and enjoys learning continuously. The ideal candidate also has experience in .NET and C# programming, creating and managing SQL databases, and experience with Azure Cloud servers. Time management around multiple deadlines, organization of projects, tasks, and client edits, reliability and consistent follow-through are critical to success in this role.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of experience in website design and development
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous deadlines
  • Ability to work directly with clients and project managers to find solutions while managing scope, budget, and expectations professionally
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • .NET and/or C# experience
  • A good sense of design basics - spacing, alignment, color, etc. is a must (graphic design skills are not required)
  • Must have a strong, up-to-date understanding of responsive design frameworks and standards (Bootstrap, Foundation, Flex, CSS Grid, etc.)
  • Understanding of IIS, Azure Cloud Services, and/or LAMP server environments
  • Database management experience (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.

Additional Technical Skills of Interest

  • Experience with website accessibility (WCAG 2.1)
  • Experience with various web mapping tools (Leaflet, Google Maps API, Mapbox, Esri)
  • Experience with Node.js and associated processes and tools
  • Experience with LAMP-stack or .NET-based CMSs
  • Experience with Git and version control
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React, Ember.js)
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: SQL, Python, PHP, SCSS

Benefits and Compensation

For the Colorado market, the anticipated starting pay range for this position is $83,000 - $104,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
