Job Summary:

*Will be responsible for performing direct patient care postoperatively as part of a surgical care team

*Assessing, documenting, and managing postoperative pain

*Assessing airway adequacy and intervening quickly and appropriately when necessary

*Cardiac monitoring and interpretation

*Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Indiana RN license
• Recovery room and/or ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days of hire/transfer
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 yr. of hire/transfer
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (Handle with Care preferred) within 3 months of hire.
