The Quality Coordinator is expected to coordinate with ISCO management and staff to maintain a high level of quality performance, by implementing and validating company quality processes and procedures. The Quality Coordinator shall be responsible for coordination of Quality related issues. This includes understanding, communication, collaboration, and resolution of issues with internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve reported Quality issues.
  • Manage and administrate reported issue logs.
  • Assist with development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) processes and initiatives.
  • Recommend, champion, and implement program enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with internal and industry standards relevant to ISCO products.
  • Verify efficacy of and suggest opportunities to improve existing Quality Management System processes.
  • Provide training about Quality Management System processes to all ISCO team members.
  • Perform Quality audits at ISCO facilities.
  • Champion and guide consistency and adherence to Quality Management System processes.
  • Assist other Quality team members in their duties as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Language:
    • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    • Write report and business correspondence.
    • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Math:
    • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
    • Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Reasoning:
    • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Education:
    • Qualified candidates will possess, at minimum, an associate's degree in a technical discipline.
    • Preferred candidates will have equivalent experience and supervisory experience.
  • Experience:
    • Technical knowledge, education, and experience are required.
    • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
    • Ability to understand and operate product testing equipment.
    • Ability to understand, interpret, and develop technical standards.
    • Previous technical writing experience and proficiency, including written technical reports, is preferred.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
