The Freestanding Urgent Care & Emergency Room is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join the team!

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment, C-arm, portable and others as needed.
  • Assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in department and procedure rooms.
  • Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information, filmed images and archiving.
  • Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.
  • Adheres to dress code and completes all QA requirements.
  • Practices universal precautions and utilizes personal protective equipment.
  • Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy.
  • Performs all radiographic exams as required.
  • Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicating
  • with the surgeons and all others as needed.
  • Assists in other areas of the department as needed.
  • Carries out additional duties as assigned.
  • Keeps track of medication inventory in procedure room for Pain Management and alerts Pharmacy of orders needed each week
  • Keeps track of inventory for needed supplies such as probes for x-ray machine, etc. and orders as needed each week

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Active KBMIRT at time of hire. ARRT within 90 days of hire.
  • CPR certified within 90 days of hire.
