QC INSPECTOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Day & Zimmermann is currently recruiting individuals who may be interested in Quality Inspector positions for 2024 outage and additional future work.

We are seeking QC Inspectors with active CWI and previous experience in support of operating fossil power plant outage and on-line maintenance / modification and project-related work. Also seeking QC Lead Inspectors with experience managing other Inspectors, proficiency with computers, and proficiency with NBIC, ASME Section 1, and ASME B31.1. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST be able to provide proof of qualification. Must be able to successfully complete any training and/or background and drug screening that may be required at the site.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $55,000 - $97,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and other factors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Feeling (e.g., perceiving an objects size, shape, texture etc.)

  • Talking, with capacity to express thoughts orally (e.g., accurately and quickly convey spoken instruction to workers)
  • Capacity to think, concentrate and focus over long periods of time
  • Ability to read and write complex documents in the English language
  • Capacity to reason and make sound decisions
  • Ability to wear a mask, respirator, bullet proof vest, or other equipment
  • Ability to regularly perform all job functions at Company's office or work site
  • Ability to withstand environmental conditions (e.g., extreme heat or cold, grass, wind, sand, fumes, odors, gases, extreme noise, etc.)
