Summary:

We are looking for an Accessions Suitability Office Specialist to join our team and provide invaluable support to the Army National Guard Recruiting Operations Center.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

    Provide analytical strength data to ARNG-HRR leadership, while supporting Recruiting Operation Branch.
  • This position requires access to the following databases and network systems: DPRO, AUVS, ATTRS Funding Allocation Model (AFAM), G-1 Gateway, Guard Knowledge Online (GKO), SMMS, and mill suite. This will include new systems integration as needed (IPPPS-A, AIE etc.).
  • Create the following daily reports: HRR Daily Recruiting Update to include previous to current FY Enlisted Enlistments/ AC2RC / Quality percentages to the HRR Division XO and State and Territory enlisted enlistments to the HHR Division Chief. The Daily Recruiting report will be a rolling, continually updated report of recruiting and retention data for all 54 States and Territories.
  • Create the following weekly reports: Strength Maintenance Advisory Group (SMAG) Consolidated Report to include Accession and Retention data, across all grades, broken down by state and/or territory; Weekly Recruiting Summary Report: Total Losses and Gains for the current FY, Deputy Directors Recruiting Summary Report, Consolidated ARNG State & Territory Listing and Weekly Information Notice (WIN) Report. The Deputy Director Recruiting Summary report is a national rollup of accession and retention to include training seat utilization.
  • Create the following monthly reports: Month versus Historical Comparison of Accession Data, and FYTD and MT Active Component and Reserve Component (AC2RC) Report.
  • Provide support to all branches within the HRR Division in Knowledge Management functions. This will include updating mil suite pages, SharePoint information, and one-on-one informal instruction for Government personnel on mil suite and SharePoint usage.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of military accessions policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when necessary. Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Excel, and PowerPoint.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required.
  • Previous experience with Joint Personnel Adjudication System (DISS) required.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Guidance Counselor Resource center (RZC) and Recruiter Zone (RZ) and Electronic Records Management (ERM), Recruiter Zone (RZ), REQUEST, Vulcan, Systematic Alien Verification for Enlistments(SAVE), Reenlistment Eligibility Data Display (REDD), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS), Interactive Personnel Electronics Records Management System (iPERMS), Soldier Management System (SMS), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT), Strength Maintenance Management System (SMMS), Cross Match WEBS, NP2 Portal, and Reserve Database Maintenance System (RDMS).
