Koorsen Facilities Management (KFM) is a Fire and Life Safety and Commercial Construction company looking for motivated personnel to join our team. KFM manages Fire and Life Safety projects as well as small to large construction projects, including new builds, renovations, additions, and facility maintenance. KFM is seeking a full-time construction professional with an extensive background as a Project Manager and Superintendent. This person will be working with a small team, is required to travel extensively, and has the ability to manage complex day-to-day job site activities.

Salary $75,000 - 95,000 depending upon experience

Must be willing to travel out of town up to 5 days at a time and home on weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite support for construction and fire life safety installation projects
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors to meet project schedule
• Regularly communicate with daily updates, monitor project scopes, schedules, materials and labor on assigned projects
• Be organized and able to exercise effective time management skills to prioritize work load
• Management of submittals, RFI's and change orders
• Assist with ordering of equipment, parts, and/or product when necessary
• Interact with customers, vendors and co-workers in a professional manner
• Open willingness to continual learning
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
• Follow all KFM policies, procedures and core values
• Any other duties deemed appropriate by management

Required:

• 8+ years project management or superintendent experience in commercial construction and/or fire life safety projects
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints and specifications
• Pass drug and background screenings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Physical Demands:

• Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
• Lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs., push and pull greater than 75 lbs.
• Climb ladder reaching heights of at least 12 feet, using man lift to reach heights exceeding 40 feet to perform the scope of work/services
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
