Responsibilities

The Brook Hospital Dupont is looking for a Full Time Inpatient Therapist to add to our team! This position will work out of our location at 1405 Browns Lane, is salaried and offers full benefits. Starting rate is 55,000.00 with paid supervision and licensed rates start at a minimum of $65,000.00.

This position qualifies for up to $7,500.00 sign-on bonus!

The Brook - Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.

The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Major job functions include obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; completing documentation; case coordination; assisting in developing and maintaining community resource information and other duties as assigned.

Job Duties

  • Obtains psychosocial assessment information, EDO assessments, and reporting
  • Follows up with family on all missed sessions Assures all needed releases/consents are obtained from patient and/or family
  • Ensures that a preliminary discharge plan is formulated with the treatment team and family, as an integral part of treatment
  • Ensures that therapies conducted are consistent with the goals and philosophies of the program, and supportive of each patient's individual treatment plan
  • Documents discharge planning one (1) time weekly, at a minimum Completes and signs the Discharge Contract
  • Completes clinical service requirements on Treatment planning forms
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have a Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences

Preferred: licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW/LCSW CADC/LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP)

Preferred: One year inpatient behavioral health work experience.
