Responsibilities

The Brook Hospital Dupont, located at 1405 Browns Lane, is seeking a PRN - Activity Therapist to join our team.

This position pays $30 - $35 per hour

The Brook - Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.

The Activities Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Major job functions include obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning.

Job Duties

  • Assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned;
  • Assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security;
  • Ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care
  • Participate in continuing education activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required: Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences or Art or Music

Required: Must be licensed CTRS, LPATA, or LPAT are types of licensure required for Art or Activities Therapist

Preferred: One to three years inpatient behavioral health work
