Job Description:

  • The Patient Experience Coordinator improves the experience of our patients and their families by executing and overseeing individualized, focused customer service strategies within the service area.

  • This position is a fluent user of the online evaluation and improvement tools of the patient experience surveys. Is also responsible for Interpretive Services.

  • This role provides education and physical support to operational teams for automated report generation to establish a common language across entities, data interpretation for targeted action planning and best practice selection.

  • The Patient Experience Coordinator actively solicits the voice of the consumer through secret shopping, focus group facilitation, and/or other avenues.

  • The Patient Experience Coordinator, in collaboration with the Manager of Patient Experience, supports operational teams with customer service and patient engagement trainings to ensure uniformity of presentation, deployment and integration of practices across the service area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associate's Degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a healthcare related field is required, or higher.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders from direct care providers, leaders, support staff and physicians.

  • Must possess good organizational skills, be adaptable, be able to manage conflict, and be able to work in stressful situations.

  • Expert knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record is required.

  • Must either be a Notary Public or become a Notary Public within three months of entering position.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in one of these fields is preferred.

  • A minimum of two years previous healthcare experience is preferred.

  • Prior experience with public relations, customer relations, customer satisfaction surveys, and developing and presenting educational programs is preferred.
