SUMMARY:

The Banking Center Greeter is responsible for creating an efficient flow of lobby traffic while projecting a positive, welcoming image to customers, visitors and vendors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greets and welcomes each customer, visitor and vendor with a smile. Kindly offers direction to the appropriate area and/or team member.

2. Signs customers into Lobby Tracker and provides an estimated wait time, if applicable.

3. Reminds customers to remove sunglasses and hats for security reasons, prior to entering the banking center, if needed.

4. Checks in on the customer when time permits and offers refreshments.

5. Aids in creating a positive and high energy environment for the banking center.

6. Maintains awareness of the lobby and banking center surroundings.

7. Works with the management team to send out important reminders, daily productivity and other useful information to the team.

8. Assists with customer appreciation days including set-up and supplies, as assigned.

9. Maintains the banking center lobby to keep it clean, clear of clutter and presentable for all visitors.

10. Fills check stand supplies and marketing materials as needed throughout the banking center.

11. Receives and distributes packages and/or deliveries as needed.

12. Follows opening and closing procedures.

13. Performs various administrative and clerical duties as assigned including ordering supplies for the banking center.

14. Accountable for maintaining knowledge of and complying with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

15. Required to complete annual training sessions as instructed or scheduled.

16. Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance with CC5 policies, procedures, philosophy and standards of performance.

17. Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • General knowledge of bank products and services preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software programs swiftly.
  • Prior experience in hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong professional verbal communication skills required.
