Job Description

Responsibilities

Direct daily career and college specialist operations for the Workforce Development department, including managing the High School Academy interns. Collaborate and communicate with both internal and external partners to ensure the organization and employee needs are best met as it relates to workforce preparedness. Oversees the planning and execution of workforce development events.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborates and communicates with both internal and external partners to ensure both Norton Healthcare and employee needs are best met as it relates to workforce preparedness.
  • Manages Workforce Development programs, including evaluating effectiveness & efficiency of current programs along with recommending and implementing new programs that are in alignment with Norton Healthcare workforce strategy in key areas of workforce need.
  • Provides leadership to Workforce Development Career & College Specialists day-to-day operations, along with the High School Academy interns.
  • Oversees all of the planning and execution of Workforce Development events both internally and externally.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Three (3) years of experience in talent/career coaching, recruitment, or as a credentialed career coach
  • Two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting

Desired:

  • Certified Career Coach
