We are looking for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Associateto join our Inpatient Transplant Surgery team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. MedStar Georgetown Transplant Institute is one of the largest liver transplant centers in the nation, with more than 100 transplants a year. We transplant patients faster than any other center in the region.

As one of the highest volume transplant programs in the United States, we have performed more than 7,500 liver, kidney, small bowel, colon, stomach and multi organ transplants. We also perform hepatobiliary surgery and offer auto islet cell transplantation for those patients suffering from the pain of chronic pancreatitis.

This position is inpatient only, 12-hour shifts, 13 shifts every 4 weeks, and 24/7 coverage for days, nights, weekends, and select holidays.
There is no OR time in this role.
