Job Summary

The Securities Lending Associate will be responsible for various securities lending operational tasks. Through training, this position will learn and actively participate in balancing the daily settlement, reconcile multiple programs and accounts, evaluate numerous reports and keep detailed record. This position will interact with internal department and outside contra firms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor, reconcile, and balance daily activity for multiple accounts and systems (DTCC, FIS Loanet, and Stifel's back office system).
  • Perform post trade settlement services, including loan and return settlement, recalls, corporate action processing and administer corresponding entries.
  • Ensure that contracts are mark to the market daily to reflect the daily price fluctuations.
  • Inspect various reports and maintains appropriate records indicating performance.
  • Reconcile, collect or deliver electronic payments for month-end interest payable and receivable, and post necessary general ledger movements.
  • Assist in the issuance and processing of recall notices.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum Required: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Required: 0 to 1 years' related experience

Systems and Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
