Job Description:
6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.
Every 7th Weekend. No Holidays
JOB SUMMARY:
Central point of contact within the department for administrative duties, communication, proper follow-up and follow-through, work order request, and assist with Bed-board Management.
Well-organized and able to prioritize tasks based on the needs of EVS Leadership and our customers.
Must be courteous and professional with every interaction through email, phone call, or through messaging systems.
Assumes responsibility for performing administrative duties, processing request surrounding scheduling (Payroll, Time & Attendance), scheduling moves & setups, submitting invoices, and monitoring bed-board management system.
Provides on-boarding communication internally & externally using various methods (Phone, Email, Messaging).
Schedule, organize, coordinate, and support EVS Department meetings and events.
Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day operations including shift start-up/breakdown, linen distribution, bed-throughput while supporting EVS Leadership with assigned tasks and/or daily assignments.
Organizes and maintains a filing system compliant with easy accessibility for all local, state, and federal regulatory agency.
Actively communicates with EVS Leadership on tools & equipment needed, shift information, compliments received by patients or team members, and operational concerns.
Partner with other departments and nursing supervisor (House Manager) as needed.
Attends and conducts huddles, committees, and departmental group activities that enhance patient outcomes and team member engagement.
Provides feedback and/or recommendation focused on patient safety, experience, and other operational opportunities.
Monitors, tracks inventory, and places orders for specialty or bulk linen item and ensure patient care areas are fully stocked.
Ensures the department is compliant with all local, federal, and state regulatory requirements and reports any deficiencies in real-time.
Conducts quality assessments and report/correct any deficiencies as needed.
Represents the department during all regulatory visits and audits by ensuring compliance for all policies & procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, or higher is required.
Customer Service experience required.
1 to 2 years of sales and administrative assistant role preferred.
