Wieland is hiring a Accounts Receivable Associate. The accounts receivable associate will be responsible for tracking and applying receipts and resolving outstanding issues to ensure WNA is paid according to revenue recorded while adhering to company policies, procedures and guidelines. This task includes verifying payments, posting payments and resolving any discrepancies between invoices and payments and between debits and credits in a timely manner. This role is located in Lousiville, KY and will be fully onsite.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable Associate Responsibilities:

    Apply receipts to customer accounts. Investigate receipt discrepancies including debits and credits and resolve by
    working with the customer, marketing, sales and/or collections
  • Processing customer credit card authorizations from Sales department and credit card settlements/charges from
    Shipping department
  • Daily reconcile the AR subledger to cash received, invoices and credits issued and resolve any discrepancies
  • Prepare, enter and ensure accuracy of monthly journal entries to record AR receipts, AR intercompany transactions
    and miscellaneous write-offs
  • Ensuring accuracy of customer billing. Working with shipping department to resolve discrepancies
  • Serve as back-up for accounts receivable associates in other business units
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures and accounting principles. Respond timely to all
    internal and external audit questions
  • Support and participate in implementation of new processes and systems

Accounts Receivable Associate Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of Accounts Receivable/Billing or related experience preferred
  • SAP, Oracle or other integrated accounts receivable systems knowledge required
  • Analytical, effective time management and strong organizational skills
  • Active participation in continuous improvement process
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Self-starter, strong follow up capability
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, with customers, co-workers and management within areas of
    responsibility
  • Problem-solving attitude
