Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking an IT Support Team Lead to support the Accessions Information Environment (AIE) program. AIE is a program of record established to confront the challenges facing the Accessions Enterprise.AIE will implement new business practices and modern technology using the Salesforce Platform.It will be a fully integrated enterprise level capability enabling transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of the accessions workforce to acquire best-qualified talent to meet all Army manning requirements.

As the IT Support Team Lead for the Army Accessions Information Environment (AIE), you will lead the management and optimization of the information technology responsible for the recruitment, assessment, selection of individuals, joining, and undergoing the initial military training for the United States Army. You will oversee a team of IT professionals and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the AIE meets the evolving needs of the Army's Accessions process while maintaining security, reliability, and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and recommend IT strategies aligned with the objectives of the Army's accession process. Identify opportunities for technological innovation and process improvement to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the AIE.

  • System Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT systems and applications within the AIE, including recruitment management, applicant tracking, assessment tools, and reporting systems.

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, telecommunications systems, and hardware peripherals.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting and maintaining the AIE. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of technical expertise and operational effectiveness.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across the Army, including recruiters, assessors, training personnel, and senior leadership, to understand their IT requirements and priorities. Develop solutions and initiatives to address their needs and improve the overall functionality of the AIE.

  • Security and Compliance: Assist the Program Management Office in ensuring that the program adheres to the highest standards of cybersecurity and data privacy. Recommend security measures, conduct regular audits, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Project Management: Manage IT projects related to the enhancement, expansion, or integration of AIE systems and capabilities. Define project scopes, timelines, and budgets, and oversee the execution of project plans to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and engage with third-party vendors and service providers to recommend IT solutions and services for the AIE. Manage vendor relationships, and service level agreements to ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users for systems and applications. Develop and implement procedures for incident management, resolution, and escalation.

  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and documentation to support the use of AIE systems by Army personnel and Functional Team staff. Conduct training sessions and workshops to ensure users are proficient in utilizing AIE tools effectively.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on system administration, application management, and project leadership

  • Strong understanding of M365 tools (e.g., Power Automate, Lists, Forms, Power Apps, Dynamics 365, Azure)

  • Strong understanding of IT and onboarding processes within the military context, preferably with experience in the U.S. Army. To include DoD 8140, 8570.01M, DA Form 2062, and other DA/DD forms

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow and Salesforce

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP)

  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., Agile, SAFe Agile) preferred

  • Must be able to pass NACI background check

  • US Citizenship is required

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional travel and work in varied environments, including office settings, conferences, and field locations.

  • Flexible scheduling may be necessary to accommodate operational requirements and project deadlines.

  • Physical capability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • On-site support location is Fort Knox, KY. Telework as customer permits.

Pay Range:Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
