Join our winning team as an Electrical and Instrumentation Work Activity Coordinatorin Oyster Creek, TX. In your role as an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Work Activity Coordinator (WAC), you will own the maintenance work execution phases for internal and external resources and will be accountable for the success of the scheduled work progression.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assigns job resources for all I&E work in the designated maintenance zone - for all Unit 5 I&E work, prioritizes, plans, assigns resources, and prepares job packages as required. If the job must be delayed, assigns other work to Technicians.
  • Checks if all scheduled job sequences have been completed and reviews work status with service providers/originators and updates the schedule as required.
  • Communicates with the plant's Activity Coordinator/Gate Keeper (AC/GK) regularly to manage backlogs and job status as needed.
  • Coordinates compliance work and ensures all work appropriate documentation is completed each month, including any necessary deferrals.
  • Mentors the I&E technicians in behavior, technical skills, and expectations.
  • Provides Turnaround execution plan, including contingencies and critical path definitions to operations and maintenance leadership in advance, with appropriate time for reviews prior to execution.
  • Serves as Electrical focal point across the business, leads Electrical troubleshooting efforts and work requiring expert knowledge of electrical systems. Assists in the creation of effective electrical Job Plans on complex electrical jobs and provides any associated operating discipline required for the job.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree* preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an I&E Technician
  • Must have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word; SAP experience preferred
  • Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
