The Work Group Supervisor is responsible for managing both internal and contract field service personnel for an assigned geographic area. This position will cover the greater Lexington and Louisville areas.



Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervises 5 to 11 service technicians for an assigned area or group of customers within a district.
  • Supervises and schedules employees to ensure the timely delivery of quality service to customers.
  • May coordinate and support pre-installations and installation activities.
  • Assists in interviewing, hiring, and training; may perform functions of manager's in his/her absence or for assigned projects.
  • May occasionally perform field service role to fulfill work requirements.
  • Prepares and administers performance appraisals and implements corrective actions as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.


Qualifications:
  • A minimum five years successful Field Service experience within the office equipment industry;
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with customers, sales management, and service technicians.
  • Ability to manage difficult customer situations and respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate others to perform well and provide appropriate recognition as needed
  • Ability to effectively complete administrative requirements as needed.
  • Ability to prioritize use of time and work on projects with minimal supervision.
  • Leadership/organizational skills necessary for management development.
  • Possesses good writing, speaking and listening skills
